German design graduate Patrick Gnther shows us a glimpse of how the world could look in fourty years with his ‘nDoo’- a medical gadget based on nano-technology which acts as a supplementary immune system. It is based on a transfer of date between nDoo and a global databank, where the latest information about diseases and therapies are stored. It also controls nanobot swarm functions, such as destroying or marking cells, bacteria and viruses, and results in early detection of disease etc. The nDoo stays with the owner from birth to death.
