When a design award so prestigious as GOOD is bestowed upon a project, we take hefty notice. The following project is a recipient of that award, and is called “Flatty,” a stainless steel flatware set designed by Harry&Camila (whom you can also see pictured in the gallery below. Behold a majestic set of food adjusters.
The GOOD DESIGN program has been in operation for 59 years now, having picked Harry&Camila as winners of their awards for five years in a row. The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies have bestowed a 2011 GOOD DESIGN AWARD on this particular set of flatware – “Flatty.” Take a look at some magnificent simplicity.
