At first glance, the Bimodal concept is seemingly predictable in a world full of far-out, ultra-aerodynamic conceptual supercars… but it’s got a secret under the hood that sets it apart, and we’re not talking engine tweaks. Dubbed the “ProGrip System,” the design features a hidden 5th wheel. Fit with its own sensors and electrohydraulic system, it provides greater traction in the straightway (also in wet weather), and enhanced cornering stability to prevent understeer and oversteer. Functional or superfluous? You be the judge. Either way, it’s a considerable innovation!
