The Spielbein chair was designed with vertical legs on one side and two tilted ones on the other to solve group seating arrangements. Its basic form is reminiscent of a person standing relaxed with one engaged leg and one loosely angled leg (which is Spielbein in German!). Building rows by placing the tilted legs between the vertical ones of the next chair, you get the impression of people sitting cross-legged. Add as many as you need to create bench-style seating without the bulk!
