I just couldn’t resist it. I just HAD to open the New Year week with a speaker design! The Xoopar sonar speaker is just the kind of magic you need to begin the new year. Using NFC technology, this impressive little thing manages to eliminate the need for auxiliary cables, or even cumbersome Bluetooth pairing! All you need to do is slide your phone into the slot and boom…literally!
Obviously, not all phones have NFC built into them, so the Xoopar speaker sports an aux input too. The speaker works off a battery, which means you need to charge it once in a while. No harm, no foul! The speaker also has just one audio driver which means no stereo sound for now. It however makes up for all that with its great design. Turn any mobile phone into a portable movie theater by sliding the phone in. The phone rests vertically at an angle that’s great for viewing. The silicone grips within the docking slot ensure that your phone is held securely, without a single scratch on your oh-so-precious screen!
