I’ll just admit I left the craziest design for the end. Pull me to life, a drawer designed by Juno Jeon, takes references from living beings. The drawer itself looks like an animal on all fours, with its unusual wooden textured ‘skin’. The minute you slide the cabinet out, the skin comes to life by transforming in a way that may shock you at the first go, but will constantly keep you hypnotized by it forever after that!
Much like a living being reacts to external stimulus, the drawer’s skin comes to life when opened, and goes back to its dormant state when closed back. Nothing but admiration for this concept, especially for giving an age old domain of wooden furniture a breath of fresh air! 💡
