From the same designer that introduced lighting with a very unique construction process comes this extension of fabric-formed home objects! Titled “Guéridon Ex09,” this sculptural side table is created utilizing a virtual fabric stretching tool which mimics the growth process found in the Radiolaria plankton. Then, the geometry of Gueridon Ex09 was further enhanced by the advanced engineering technology of Altair (one of the world’s leading engineering companies). It’s essentially aerodynamics and stress testing primarily used for advanced vehicles including fighter jets and F1 racing cars – this allowed the artist to see the inner flows of stress forces and optimize the design and stability. The result is a sculptural surface piece that is at once natural and alien-like, designed to take all you can give it!
