Designer Andy Kim channelled his inner Philippe Starck with the Epiqual toothbrush. The toothbrush comes with this incredibly soft, contoured body that merges beautifully into the toothbrush stand. So much so that the chrome variant of the Epiqual could be passed off as a high-end premium faucet!
The Epiqual deviates from the trend of making toothbrushes look unreasonably functional. The Toothbrush is all about the art of living better, not about the art of dentistry, says Kim. Doing away with the gimmicky style of current toothbrushes with their cross bristles and textures backs, the Epiqual boasts of simplicity that doesn’t compromise on functionality, and an aesthetic that makes it fit for the MoMA, rather than our bathroom!
