Chinese automaker Chery is challenging ideas about what an SUV should be. The Chery FV2030 seems to be enhanced for the road, which is actually where most SUV drivers keep their wheels planted! The concept has been designed to outrun the “new normal” of the luxury performance crossover that originals like Infiniti and BMW introduced.
Its sports-car-inspired architecture, visionary styling and progressive technologies break the mold of expectation. A distinctly athletic character and a premium interior enhance the bold character already sculpted into the brave exterior. It’s a cool fusion that blends the aesthetically heavier SUV lower body with a sleek, elegant upper body more reminiscent of a classic sports car. Not an entirely new idea, but it’s never been expressed quite like this with an extreme low slung roofline, interesting wheels, and gull wing doors on the outside as well as holographic displays and sporty triple rear seating inside.
