What do you get when you cross 3D printing with Bluetooth audio?! The answer is Tundra – a speaker that brings new meaning to “AM”! It explores the use of 3D printed material in the portable audio industry and the result is a sculptural piece, with a 3D printed asthetic, that produces sound as beautiful as it looks!
The design was created using CAD software and then 3D printed, sanded and painted to ensure an accurate and flawless exterior finish. Its concrete base is also created using a 3 part 3D printed mold and textured to mimic a 3D print. Its vertical upright form, multidirectional speaker outputs and wireless capability make it a versatile and unobtrusive sound object that will be right at home in any corner or nook in your home.
