Doing exactly what its name suggests, the Ring Ruler allows you to draw perfect circles without using those compasses that tear holes in paper (my architecture friends will know the pain) and require constant readjusting and calibrating because the hinge is loose, or the pencil isn’t secured tight enough.
Simple in its design, the Ring Ruler allows you to make circles by deciding exactly what diameter you need. Its design enables you to make perfect circles (although irrespective of a central point) and the diameter can be increased (at increments of 0.06 inches) or decreased by just snapping the ruler at the desired point. The only caveat is that with perfect circles comes the problem of storage. Given its circular shape, the Ring Ruler isn’t a linear tool and therefore can’t be carried in a toolbox. It’s best kept at your work-space.
