With the dynamism of a Stability Ball packaged in the form factor of a stool, the Ovini Balance Stool relies on a hemispherical cushion and a series of ball bearings to give you a seat that allows you to shift and adjust your sitting angle to keep your spine active and engaged.
The innovative piece of furniture uses a ring of bearings and an upturned metal dome to allow you to not only shift your seating angle but also rotate 360° in your position, giving you a kind of freedom you wouldn’t expect in most regular chairs, leave alone stools. The metal dome also comes with a rubber cord that connects the seat to the bottom of the stool, making sure the cushion doesn’t go rogue on you and do a full 180. The stool’s ability to let the seater adjust their angle makes it a much healthier alternative to most chairs. It keeps your body in constant motion and helps to maintain the natural curvature of human lumbar. Not to mention it looks like the most fun seating device ever! I call dibs!
