An iron’s triangular form leads to the device being a difficult product to store when not in use; the bulky design combined with the long cable means that a lot of the time it either gets forced into an uncooperating cupboard or left for all to see on the worktop. Both of these scenarios are far from ideal.
The Smooth may just well be a solution to the ever-frustrating problem, and it goes about doing so in an intuitive and space-conserving manner. The conventional, and now iconic, form of the iron has been abandoned, and instead replaced by a more rectangular alternative. The lengthy cable now been assigned a home; the gap between the handle and the body is filled by the cable, while the plug neatly engages with the iron’s body.
Each and every element of the product has been considered in great detail, from the lid of the container that doubles as a base for the hot iron, to the color changing water level indicator!
