Designer Bendegúz Asztalos’ vision for an all-new Mercedes Unimog vehicle is specially adapted for something close to home. Inspired by his family’s small vineyard in in the Hungarian wine region of Tokaj, Ben reimagined the Unimog to help with the specific needs of winemakers.
Taking on an ant-like form, the updated design features a tighter turning radius and overall smaller size for maneuvering between rows. Independently operating wheels and suspension help it traverse uneven hillside terrain. It also features modular sections, including the cabin for when it operates autonomously, that make it possible to outfit with endless array of tools like plows, harvest containers, and others.
