The Tuk Tuk of Tomorrow

Designed for the streets of Cambodia, Vincent Chan’s SmarTuk concept aims to provide a low-cost, modular solution for individuals selling foods and goods. The modular design can adapt to a variety of vendors’ unique requirements simply by swapping out the rear half. Whether it’s a mobile cafe or grocery cart, users can specify their style upon ordering or interchange them over time.

Running entirely on electric power, they’re also efficient and affordable to maintain and operate. Better yet, each vehicle would feature an integrated tracking device that shows the location of each vendor on a global map for locals and visitors to find quickly and easily.
