As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented pace, the need for charging solutions that are efficient, convenient and also visually appealing remains ever-present. Back in 2022, a seemingly ordinary workday sparked an extraordinary innovation, a self-cable wireless charging mobile power source that would break through the uniformity and saturation of the market. This led to the birth of “Little Ice Cream,” a wireless charging power bank that blends functionality with delightful design.
The journey to this unique product began with competitor analysis, brainstorming, and extensive research. Despite a week of deliberation, the design approach remained undecided—until a casual tea break at 7-Eleven in July 2022. There, the team was captivated by colorful ice creams in the freezer, sparking a revelation: why not make a mobile power source as appealing as ice cream? Inspired, they captured the moment in photos, blending practicality with beauty. This led to the creation of the “Ice-Cream” wireless charging power bank with a built-in cable. The journey from inspiration to realization involved meticulous research, pre-analysis, sketching, and 3D modeling. Numerous iterations of structural prototypes were tested and refined to achieve the perfect blend of form and function.

Designed for both Android and Apple devices, “Little Ice Cream” incorporates an exclusive, self-developed two-way fast-charging technology. The innovative stick component of the ice cream design doubles as a built-in data cable, supporting a unique charging experience that accommodates multiple devices with a single solution. With its reverse charging feature, users can not only charge their smartphones but also recharge other electronic gadgets supporting this technology. The device supports simultaneous wired charging, magnetic suction, and a convenient double-click function to switch to low-current mode, catering to various charging needs effortlessly.
A core principle during the design process was ensuring that “Little Ice Cream” was practical and also visually appealing. Eco-friendly silicone was used for the wire to replicate the soft and enticing texture of real ice cream, while the shell was meticulously hand-painted. These materials provide a comfortable, durable, and vibrant finish, ensuring that the product remains visually striking and pleasant to use.
Upon its launch, “Little Ice Cream” quickly gained popularity, topping the charts within just three months of its release. Its unique combination of innovative charging technology and delightful aesthetics made it an instant favorite among consumers, securing its place as a classic in the Romoss product lineup.
However, the journey did not end there. In early 2024, a new wave of updates and iterations was introduced in response to overwhelming user support and demand. The latest model enhances its wireless charging capabilities, supporting mobile phones, smartwatches, and headphones with an improved multi-functional coil module. This significant upgrade further elevates charging efficiency and convenience.
Driven by users’ need for portable and fast charging solutions, the WMS10 and WMO10 Ice-Cream series were developed to seamlessly integrate wired and wireless fast charging. By addressing the common frustrations of tangled cords and multiple charging devices, these models offer a smart, streamlined, and intelligent charging solution that enhances efficiency and organization.
Today, “Little Ice Cream” remains a beloved innovation in the Romoss family.
