Everything about the Volkswagen XE Vision Gran Turismo screams lightness. Its rigid (yet somewhat delicate-looking) monocoque framework give it optimum aerodynamics and efficiency during the long haul. At the front, a scooped nose and lip fin direct air up and around to create downforce. At the back, an empty, open wheelbase provides room for the elevated cockpit and engine section for even less resistance. For added lightness, flexible fan-blade wheels provide nimble traction without the added bulk.
