Driving in 2030

E-Vul is an electric-powered inter-city concept car, designed for the year 2030. Changing environmental issues, living status and the impact of new energy technologies have been taken into consideration while developing this concept. Deriving inspiration from the networking and transportation techniques used by ants, E-Vul Car is proposed to work as a public booking and payment transportation system.

The designers explain, “Users can interact with the system via telephone or Internet, and the service can be linked to the home in order to reduce the use of private cars. A magnetic link is used between each car in order to reduce the consumption of electrical energy. In this way, both short and long-range travel for multiple passengers can be achieved and a more energy-efficient manner. The service connects the Internet and highway system to provide multiple services. The autopilot function reduces the risk of accidents.”

E-Vul is a 2011 red dot design concept winner.
