Marina Scheinberg’s wrist orthosis interacts with areas of tension surrounding the arm and wrist for use in cases of lesion-induced immobilization as well as post-op recovery, the device forms a temporary tensional “exoskeleton” with the body for a more flexible, frictionless, comfortable and effective healing solution. Composed of common soft foam material, it’s lightweight and capable of being produced virtually anywhere at low cost, making it an ideal solution for developing nations.
